The simla Agreement of July 1972 was followed by another landmark agreement between India and Pakistan which was signed on 18th August 1973. This agreement provided for the release of all Pakistan (POW) and Bangladesh agreed to postpone trial of 195 for criminals. This agreement was signed in:
